Litepanels announces its new 1x1 Low Profile LED lighting fixture, designed to
mount flat against a ceiling or wall while still delivering Litepanels HD-friendly
lighting for television or motion picture applications.
General Specifications
The 1x1 Low Profile fixtures stick down a scant there inches from the ceiling or
wall surface where they are mounted. This results in practically no loss of
headroom or room space. Since the LED bulbs on the low Profile are tilted at 40
degrees off axis, light is projected forward from the fixture to softly light the
subject.
Like all Litepanels' LED lighting fixtures, the Low Profile draws little power, and
can be operated off 12-volt DC available on a car or bus. The fixtures are cool to
the touch, even when operating, so they add no head to a cramped space. And
like other Litepanels' 1x1 fixtures, the Low Profile is dimmable, via DMX or a
control on the fixture itself, with no noticeable shift in color temperature.
Litepanels low Profile fixtures are available in Flood (5600 and 3200°K), as well as
Spot and SuperSpot configurations (5600°K).
In addition to being demonstrated in Litepanels booth at NAB (C6817), the Low
Profile fixtures can be seen installed and in use in the John Lennon Educational
Tour Bus, which will be parked near the rear of the C Hall during NAB. The
Lennon bus, with its cramped space and low ceiling, is a particularly good
showcase for the Litepanels Low Profile's ability to provide flattering lighting in a
minimun of space, while adding no heat to the interior of the bus.
